    Stay away.
I was part of this church for 11 years before I finally woke up and realized that I was being brainwashed by this cult.
Greg, the pastor, seems like a very nice guy who cares about the Word. However, he forces many of his personal views on the congregation. For example, if you public school your kids, you are judged. He has said in Bible studies on how homeschooling is the best, and pretty much the only, way to go. He also has extremely wacky views on dating, saying you should not date until you are ready for marriage.
Another problem with this church is the arrogance. It has been stated from the pulpit, several times, that their church is the only good church in Vancouver. The people there are self-righteous and pious, believing themselves to be better than everyone else.
You may ask why I call this church a cult. A cult is a place where its members are not allowed to think for themselves, questioning of core beliefs is prohibited, and those that disagree are rejected and/or shunned. All three of these things are true for this church. I tried to leave the church while living with my parents, and they told me I would get kicked out if I left. After awhile, because of my "bad example for the other church people" they forced me to leave the church, which I was very happy about.
After that however, I went to a church that I knew Greg did not agree with. I also knew my parents disliked the church, simply because their leader Greg disliked it. I respectfully told my parents that I would go to this church, and when I got home that night, they told me I had to move out within 3 days.
I'm not saying all parents there are as crazy as my parents, but the church did support my parent's decision to kick me out of my home, just for going to another church that their Supreme Leader Greg did not approve.
I'm not saying this church is completely bad. It looks great on the surface, but it has a lot of issues.
I do not hesitate to call it a cult, and I hope and pray every day that Greg will be removed from this church, because there are a lot of people there that truly care about following the Lord.
Please, just stay away from this church.

Update: so it's been about a year and a half since I left this church, and things have only gotten better. My parents ended up realizing Greg's ways were his own, nothing that God would have been behind, and decided to leave the church early this year. Me and my family have reunited, and are doing better than ever now that we are out of this cult. Greg has done things trying to contact us that have downright cowardly. He tried contacting my 18 year old sister, trying to get her to come back to the church. This man has a serious God complex problem. About half of the church woke up and realized how flawed Greg is as a leader and have now left the church. I can't believe that this cult can last much longer, as it was a small congregation to begin. Greg has completely lost it and refuses to back his arguments with anything other than, " You have to believe that what I'm saying is true" and unfortunately there are still some people that attend. To wrap up this review, the church is falling apart. People have realized it's a cult, and families have been leaving at a great rate. Don't get sucked in here. God will have his judgement with this church.

    Ezekiel 34:4
"Those who are sickly, you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you sought for the lost, but with force and severity you have dominated them."

For those who truly desire a church where the word of God is taught, there is an appeal to this church. It is true that the pastor, Greg Lundstedt, teaches through the scriptures. I would even say he is a very gifted teacher but Jesus warned that the wolves in sheep’s clothing are known by their fruit…not by the correctness of their doctrine, or ability to properly exegete a passage. We prove to be His disciples by the love we have for one another.
It is perhaps inaccurate to call this a cult, but to be a part of this fellowship is to live in oppression and fear. The pastor exercises an unhealthy degree of control. By unhealthy I mean by any of the standards that qualify as spiritual abuse: control oriented style of leadership, spiritual elitism, denunciation of other churches, painful exit process, manipulation of members using fear and guilt, harsh discipline of members, shunning….they are all here. Greg is not accountable to anyone and he does not answer to anyone.
We are to fear God and we are live in obedience to Him . I think of Jesus, and His invitation: “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My load is light.” Follow Jesus, He is the good shepherd. Find a body to fellowship in that not only teaches His word but has a love for the flock and a heart for the lost.

  • This is a good and Christ centered church that Satan wants to destroy. Proverbs 6:16-19 "There are six things which the LORD hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: 17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run rapidly to evil, 19 A false witness who utters lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers."

  • I am very thankful for this church and for the elders who want nothing more than to serve Jesus Christ and teach His word faithfully. Through the clear teaching of God's word, I have been convicted of sin so often and have been continually pointed to Christ, which is a crucial process of growing in Him and becoming more like Him, as I realize my need for His grace and help every single day and even every hour. I am so thankful that the elders here are faithful to bring forth God's word accurately and completely, even if it is sometimes uncomfortable. They are faithful to "shepherd the flock" (Acts 20) through the teaching of the bible, and take that very seriously.

For anyone who is not willing to submit their hearts to Jesus Christ, being under clear, biblical teaching will likely be uncomfortable since it will convict their hearts of sin and point to their need of a Savior, and of their need for His help continually due to their own inadequacy--though, it is the word of God that is making them uncomfortable, not the elders or the people. "For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).

But for anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with the Lord, serving Him and studying His word, it is a tremendous blessing to be pointed to Jesus Christ continually, to be reminded continually of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to serve with other forgiven sinners who also just want to serve our gracious Lord who saved us with His own blood.

The people are very friendly and welcoming and truly see one another as family in the Lord. No one is perfect, and we fail each other at times, but the love that has been shown to me and to so many others through the people here is a clear testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ and the faithful teaching of His word, which "performs its work in [those] who believe" (1Thes 2:13).

We sing mostly old hymns and the primary focus of the church is to bring forth God's word accurately, in it's right context, since it is inerrant and "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work" (2Timothy 3:16).

And for those who attend who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, the church's desire is for them to be saved. "'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!' However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, 'Lord, who has believed our report?' So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ” (Romans 10:16-17).

This chirch is complete garbage. I attended here with my parents for about four years and these were the worst four years of my life. The pastor Greg "whatever the heck his last name is" is a complete and total control freak. If anyone is afraid of cults the I would advise DO NOT ATTEND THIS CHURCH. Everyone who goes here is sucked in like a vacuum and you'll have the hardest time getting out. Don't get me wrong, the people are amazing, but it's all a show. Those that attend here are complete robots, they don't even control their own lives and live for what they stand for. They live and stand for what their pastor Greg stands for, which is the complete opposite of what the Bible says. For example, this man could come to church for the worship and then leave right before the service started. Greg started to notice and told the ushers to tell this man that if he doesn't stay for the whole entire service, then he is not welcomed here. If you ask me THIS IS NOT OK. If someone wants to come to church for just a part of it, then so be it. LET THEM DO AS THEY PLEASE. Anyways, I just felt it important to write this review and warn those of you who have considered attending this church(cult). If you're looking for a cult and be controlled by one man then this is the place for you, but you're looking for an actual chirch then DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER COMING HERE. Well that's all I have to say for now...
