  • Great Bible Study by Al Walter. Good interaction by members and guests.

This place reminded me of an Orthodox Jewish synagogue, but they combine both elements of Jewish traditions with the New Testament; however, when people mention it on reviews then one member writing their review said Christians like me are "antisemetic," but they are similar to the Catholic priests who also contradict the New Testament with their man-made commands and traditions; further, they both wear those little round caps that are not written anywhere in the Torah because it is a custom and not a commandment from God.

Someone said below, "today's nominal Christians" as if all willfully sin, and saying that is not only a false judgment but it contradicts the New Testament because you cannot judge people based on opinions. As for Rehoboth, they follow Kosher dietary laws that also contradict some of Apostle Paul's teaching in the New Testament. During one prayer, they cover their eyes with their hand or hands and look downward as they say it aloud, but Adam hid from God after sin and someone would not need to hide their face who believes in Jesus.

Jesus said "the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down." Luke 21:6. Did you know? That some non-Jesus-believing Jews mock the prophecy of Jesus written of in Luke 21:6 by saying it never happened because a portion of the Eastern Wall still stands? Well, there is a lot more time left is my reply to Judaism; as a result, why would this congregation (who claims to believe in Jesus) turn toward a replica of a wall that Messiah said would not remain standing? If all they did was turn to Jerusalem as Daniel did, then why make a replica of the Eastern Wall? They cannot use the New Testament to answer these two questions; and that is why I believe they follow after another Jewish tradition. Daniel prayed toward Jerusalem, but believers in Christ do not need to pray in that direction because Jesus is the head of the corner, Mark 12:10.

If you believe in the definition of emulations as it is written in the 1611 translation of the New Testament by the authority of King James (Galatians 5:20) and what Apostle Paul says (by faith a believer in Jesus accepts) he is an Apostle, a Benjamite and has understanding; as a result, I would not attend any congregation such as Rehoboth where they mix Judaism dress styles with the New Testament because it is emulating Judaism.
