  Davies Cremation and Burial Services in Vancouver was great. As my 91 yr old mother pass away, they were there, very professional, no hidden cost, everything went as explained and planned. After they had pick her up they found she was still wearing a watch...a simple Timex. They called me, explained it would be logged in at the Crematorium, then transferred back to Vancouver and held securely for me to pick up! They care and made the passing of my mother just a little bit easier. Thanks for all the help.

  I called upon the assistance of Davies the morning my father was to be taken off life support. My call and questions were answered immediately and followed up by emails detailing what was needed from my mother. After the hospital was finished processing his body he was picked up and from then on taken care of by the good people at Davies. All our requests were honored, from what he was wearing during cremation to the locks of hair that we requested. When my mother went in to make the arrangements she was not pressured into spending the equivalent of her tremendous grief, she was treated sweetly and her boundaries were respected. They gave her the needed time and space to complete the paperwork, and helped her pick a beautiful urn that may as well of been made to his personal taste and specifications. Davies also created our funeral program, which included thank you cards. I would personally recommend Davies to anyone who is experiencing significant loss, they are beyond helpful and respectful even suggesting lower cost alternatives first so not to profit on the insurmountable grief and fragile state of the grieving family. Thank you Davies for making a tremendously difficult situation to plan, as painless as possible.

  Our son was murdered. During this horrible time Don Davies did everything he could possibly do to help us through this terrible time in our lives. Thank you Don Davies and all your staff for being there when we needed you.
